Credits and plans
Scenarios are unlimited, and you only spend credits when you need verification. Here's everything in one place — what a credit is, how much each task costs, and how plans, top-ups, and refunds work.
What is a credit
Writing scenarios in Specnote is unlimited. Credits are only spent when the AI actually does work. So think of a credit as "a unit that counts how much work the AI did."
When you sign up, you get 30 credits right away. You can receive them without registering a card, and they're enough to run an auto-extraction once and verify several times. Use them lightly at first to get a feel for "how much I tend to use in a month."
In one line: writing scenarios is free; credits are only spent on AI work and verification.
How much does each task cost
Each task costs a different amount. The heaviest is the AI exploring your whole app to find scenarios; verification is fixed at 1 credit each.

Auto-extraction is billed at cost. Depending on how deeply the AI explored your app, it can vary slightly around 28 credits. Verification, on the other hand, is always 1 credit, so it's easy to predict. Even if you verify the same scenario many times a day, it's only 1 credit per run.

There are three plans. Start free, and move up when your verification and AI work grow.

Here, a project is Specnote's unit for "one app" (inside the product it's called a Spec). The Free plan lets you create up to 1 project; Standard and Pro are unlimited.
Subscription credits refill on each billing date. Unused credits do not carry over to the next month (they don't roll over). So picture it as "use the 200 or 400 you get each month within that month."
Choosing annual billing makes it about 20% cheaper. By paying for a year at once, you effectively save two months.
Credit top-up packs
Some months your monthly credits may not be enough. When that happens, you can top up as needed with a pack.

Top-up credits never expire. Unlike subscription credits, they don't vanish when the month changes, and they stay even after you cancel your subscription. Once topped up, you can use them at your own pace.
When you spend credits, your monthly subscription credits go first, and only after those run out do your top-up credits get used. That way you use up the non-rolling subscription credits first, with nothing wasted.
Refunds and cancellation
We kept refunds and cancellation simple so you can start with peace of mind.
- 100% refund within 7 days. Within 7 days of your first payment, we refund the full amount. Try it, and if it doesn't fit, get a refund with no hassle.
- Cancel with one click. One button in My Page is all it takes. Even after canceling, you keep paid features until your next billing date — nothing cuts off abruptly.
- Tax invoices. From your payment history, you can issue tax invoices, cash receipts, and credit card sales slips yourself.
Payments are securely processed through Paddle. Since Paddle handles your card details directly, Specnote does not store your card number separately.
